Vertical Greenhouse Project by Students in Canik
In Canik, students will contribute to agricultural development with vertical greenhouses.

Within the scope of the Erasmus Project called 'Take Action for a Sustainable Life' supported by Canik Municipality, the opening program of vertical greenhouses built by Canik Türk Telekom Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students was organized.
In the program, school principal Cengiz Çetinkaya presented a plaque to Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı for his support for the project.
‘They will contribute to the agricultural development of our country’.
Stating that it will contribute to the agricultural development of the country with the vertical greenhouse system built by the students, Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı said, “Unfortunately, we are in a period when fertile soils and agricultural areas are decreasing day by day due to climate change. Our students will grow efficient and high quality products in less space with the vertical greenhouse system they have created. They will contribute to the agricultural development of our country with vertical greenhouses, which are one of the leading systems of modern agriculture. I sincerely congratulate all our teachers and students who contributed to the implementation of this project developed for the benefit of all humanity.”
‘We support the projects developed by our young people’
Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that young people always support the projects they develop. President İbrahim Sandıkçı said, “We attach importance to their ideas and always support the projects they develop in order for our young people to develop themselves and sail to new little ones". Our young people can always share their thoughts and ideas with us about the projects and work they have prepared.”
‘We will continue to gain new projects’
Stating that they will continue to bring new projects to the district in the field of education, President İbrahim Sandıkçı said, “We have mobilized with all our means for young people and children to receive quality education in our district". We have implemented many projects in our district so that our puppies receive qualified and practical training. Hopefully, we will continue to work hard for them and bring new projects.”
Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı, Canik District Director of National Education Zahit Köseoğlu and branch managers attended the opening program held at Canik Türk Telekom Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. In addition to Canik Türk Telekom Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School teachers and students, teachers and students from Romania and Poland also took part in the program as project stakeholders.
